The Concept of Kia Koe. Why do we need to have an ideas management system?
INT. KKIMS DEVELOPMENT TEAM MEETING - DAY
The KKIMS development team is gathered around a table discussing their latest project.
CHRIS, the team leader, speaks up:
CHRIS: Alright everyone, we've been tasked with developing an online management system that can give contributors a meaningful and useful platform to share and debate ideas. The problem is, there's currently no existing system out there that can do this effectively.
THERESA, a member of the team, raises her hand:
THERESA: So, what exactly are we trying to solve with this system?
CHRIS: The problem is that managing ideas in a small or large group requires a system that is disciplined, safe, well-managed, intuitive, and that presents data in a useful way for all users. We need to ensure that the maximum amount of useful information is available to allow for the best decisions to be made and to progress towards the stated goal.
PAUL, another member of the team, speaks up:
PAUL: So, the end objective is to have a system that allows for effective collaboration and decision-making among contributors?
CHRIS: Exactly. We want to create a platform that not only allows for easy idea sharing and debate, but also ensures that all data is organized and presented in a way that is useful for all users.
THERESA: And how do we plan on achieving this?
CHRIS: That's where KKIMS comes in. We've developed a concept for a system that is highly intuitive, easy to use, and provides all the necessary features to manage and collaborate on ideas effectively. With KKIMS, we aim to revolutionize the way ideas are shared and managed in group settings. It’s going to take a team of us to put it together and trial it… who is interested in this?
PAUL: I really like the sound of that, how are we going to proceed from here?
CHRIS: From here, The idea is to design and produce a working model of this concept well enough that we can use it ourselves to develop the concept into reality and the best available ideas management tool on the planet. I am very excited about both the concept and the potential it has to make a positive contribution to the world in every way possible
PAUL and THERESA together: Sounds great. Let's get to work!
The Concept of Kia Koe Ideas Management System (KKIMS)
Kia Koe, broadly meaning “You Choose” is a system to manage an idea to its end including input from those you want involved and/or permit access to your project to be usefully involved in your idea or project.
The key philosophy is “empowerment” of contribution and choice in a safe and useful way.
KKIMS provides a platform for people of all ages and walks of life to contribute to current debate and influence any idea, whether it be from a family vacation project to an invention or even a wider range of social issues. All can be managed within KKIMS through adding more modules to a larger project
Kia Koe is designed to mimic access to an unlimited 24/7 referendum that actively solicits ideas, concepts and discussions from registered members who want to be involved and have an opportunity to influence outcomes, no matter the scale or type of project..
Input is via supervised forums (quadrants) that lie at the heart of Kia Koe and registered users can participate in any of the quadrants once registered and enjoy the ability to influence idea development through to completion (wherever possible)
We encourage you to REGISTER (Link) as soon as possible and look forward to your participation.
We are so confident that this will be your best corroboration experience with outcomes that will have an impact wherever the ideas being developed intersect
About the name "Kia Koe"
New Zealand is the birthplace of our party and it was important that our name reflected those origins. The original idea was to name it the “You Choose” party, which is what the party is all about, but that had no obvious connection with the New Zealand culture.
So we looked to the Maori language for a translation of “you choose” to find a name or phrase, or adaptation, that shouts New Zealand, that combines well with our uniquely New Zealand logo and is easily recognized, being unlike anything else in the New Zealand political arena.
And so the name Kia Koe was born. It is not intended to be a strict translation from the Maori language. We trust that people will accept that and embrace the meaning and intent of Kia Koe in the same way that words such Aroha, Whanau and Haka have become accepted throughout New Zealand culture.
We are sometimes asked if the name implies a Maori political party. The answer is no, it caters to everyone. The ambitions of Kia Koe are outlined in the Mission Statement that appears on this page.
Kia Koe!
Our Mission Statement
"The mission of Kia Koe is to provide the best possible parliamentary democracy option that guarantees free thinking, worship, speech and association. We will promote a just and humane society, free from all forms of bias and racial prejudice and where the role of law and justice is constantly re-considered and re-approved. We will make empowering the population an integral part of government by creating opportunities for policy development at grass roots level across all sectors of society. We will support equal opportunity for all and the promotion of a society where everyone can enjoy the highest standards of living, education, health and social justice. We will ensure that current generations are the custodians of our natural resources and the environment, charged with preserving those assets for the future generations to come. We will ensure that current generations are responsible for the ownership of their own political direction, and setting the platforms for future custodians: the next in line, being our children. It will be our intention to limit the role of government to only those functions necessary to create and support the objectives described in this statement. It is also intended that we constantly question and re-approve the various roles of Government, that the services being provided are both required and suitable for the needs of society, together with the expenses involved in maintaining those roles and services."
